Gavin James announces new album Goldrush
The singer will be celebrating his new project with a four night run of gigs at Doyle's Corner in Dublin
Gavin James has announced his fourth studio album Goldrush, releasing on September 19.
Goldrush consists of 13-tracks, structured in two distinct halves divided by an interlude. The first half is filled with upbeat, high energy anthems, while the he second half showcases a raw and emotional side to the project.
“This album has been two years in the making, and it’s the first time I’ve fully thrown myself into the production side of things — which was an amazing learning curve," said James.
"The opening track, Goldrush, felt like the start of something new I’d been searching for. The record has all the bells and whistles I love as a producer, but also the raw, imperfect moments that make it feel truly human.”
The title track from Goldrush was released earlier this year and his most recent single from the project 'Cherry Cola' came out in June.
James is celebrating his album release with four night run at Dublin Pub Doyles Corner, beginning on September 19.
The singer burst onto the scene in 2015 with this debut record Bitter Pill. It was followed by his 2018 album Only Ticket Home, featuring 'Always,' which reached number #1 in the Irish charts.
After his stint in Doyles Corner, James will be embarking on a tour with dates in the US and Netherlands.
