From Lust To Dust
The ideal soundtrack for remembering the long hot summer.
During the daytime, Peter Juergens is a tattoo artist, but at night he specialises in covering a sonic tapestry. As Ten Madison, the German producer released the superb debut, ‘Avenue’ last year and ‘Lust’ is a fine follow up. Focusing on the same deep, electronic ambience, this second work is full of atmosphere and musicality – check the bass-led, cinematic hum of ‘All In One’ or the dreamy ‘Empty Airport. Although he is occasionally guilty of veering into cheesy Club Med chill – ‘One Day On Ibiza’ – ‘Lust’ is a fine second work and, as the winter draws close, the ideal soundtrack for remembering the long hot summer.
