Franz Ferdinand Join Artists for a Trump-Free America
90 Days, 90 Reasons sought to get Obama in, 30 days, 30 Songs seeks to kick Trump out
'Demagogue' is the latest installment to the 30 Days, 30 Songs project. The project already includes songs from Death Cab for Cutie, Jim James, Aimee Mann, and Bhi Bhiman. Every day from October 10 until election day, a new song will be released to motivate Americans to vote against Republican candidate, Donald Trump.
Frontman Alex Kapranos sings "those tiny vulgar fingers on the nuclear bomb", speaking about the terrifying image of Trump as the next Commander in Chief. The project aims to "prevent the apocalypse that would be Donald Trump as president." Artists are once again harnessing the power of music to make a change in the world.
Check out 'Demagogue' below.
