FORBIDDEN FRUIT 2017: Jack Thompson gets the early crowd moving on Saturday
Crowds can be a little slower to engage in the early hours on the second day of a festival, but don't tell that to Jack Thompson, who drew the biggest crowd of the day to date to the Lighthouse Tent from 3 to 4:30.
Thompson skilfully varied the tempo of his set throughout, mixing thumping basslines and smoother tracks to keep the crowd moving. He clearly enjoyed his work as much as any of the crowd, as he grooved behind the decks in concert with the full tent.
Chants of 'whoop that ass' and 'oggy oggy oggy' rang out throughout as all present were treated to a whopper set to kick off their day.
