Fontaines D.C. DJs contribute to English Teacher's upcoming This Could Be A Remix Album
The project also features remixes from Baxter Dury, SHERELLE, Daniel Avery and more.
Leeds-based indie band English Teacher have announced This Could Be A Remix Album, set for release October 10 via Island Records.
Comprising 13 remixes and reworks of their 2024 Mercury Prize-winning debut album This Could Be Texas, the LP precedes their biggest headline tour to date this November, which sees them play Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre on November 8.
It features remixes, edits, and covers from a range of artists, including Dublin's own Fontaines D.C. The Fontaines D.C. DJs are contributing a remix of 'The Best Tears Of Your Life' to the project.
Some of the other acts featured on the album include Matt Maltese, Working Men's Club and Daniel Avery.
Speaking ahead of their remix release, English Teacher revealed, "So grateful that some of our favourite contemporary artists and friends were up for doing this with us x."
