Fleet Foxes Tease New Music
The band is "Alllllmost done" with new album.
Yesterday, the Fleet Foxes announced on social media that their new music is nearly on the way to listeners' ears! The last time they produced new music was back in 2011 with Helplessness Blues.
Not only do fans have a record to look forward to, but live tour dates as well. The first of the dates has been announced for the BBK Live festival in Bilbao, Spain next July. Unfortunately, the new album and tour will not feature former drummer Father John Misty.
The American indie folk band, fronted by Robin Pecknold, have also confirmed the album title: Crack-Up. Apparently, the title is taken from a collection of F. Scott Fitzgerald essays written in 1945 of the same name. If the album title denotes any similarities to the essays, then the famous line from the main essay may sum up one of the themes, "Of course all life is a process of breaking down."
