Fizz share trippy video for 'High in Brighton'
The psychedelic new video was directed by Rosie Brear.
London-based band Fizz have unveiled a vibrant new video for their debut single 'High in Brighton'.
The outfit, featuring Dubliner Orla Gartland and friends - English musicians dodie, Greta Isaac and Martin Luke Brown.
Fizz recorded a 12-track debut album called The Secret To Life, at Middle Farm Studios, in South Devon last summer with Pete Miles. Coming together in a whirlwind of pure joy and escapism, the band inverted everything each artist knew about making music to produce an album with fun and a love of the craft at its core.
The quirky visuals for 'High in Brighton' were directed by Rosie Brear, featuring a road trip that goes comedically wrong - to the point of octopus tentacles and dinosaur feet.
"The video was directed by the powerhouse that is @robrear and made with an amazing team, all credits in the music video description. Thank u all for bringing our road trip to life," Orla Gartland posted to Instagram.
"I wanna get out my room, it's so boring," Gartland sings on the opening verse. "Crushed under the weight of things that I'm ignoring (she's ignoring) / Talk to the hand, not to my face / Talk to the losers in my place / Fuck it, I'm leaving, I'm out of here / I got a one way ticket to heaven..."
Tickets for Fizz' UK/Ireland run this autumn go on general sale this Friday, July 7th at 10am. The band play Dublin's Vicar Street on September 27th.
