Fickle Friends set to play 14+ gig in the Academy 2
The band recently signed to Polydor Records after years spent going it alone.
Indie-pop bright sparks Fickle Friends are on the up-and-up.
After 18 months of well-received singles, they have recently released the title-track single from their EP Glue which is due for release later in August.
To keep the wheel turning, they're doing the festival circuit in the UK along with other gigs in other areas.
One of those is The Academy 2, Dublin, where a 14+ gig is scheduled for October 10.
About new single 'Glue', frontwoman Natti Shiner says "I imagined the times I’ve been out (and inebriated) and thinking that I've fallen in love with someone after only 5 minutes of talking to them at the bar…so I wrote a song about it.”
