Electronica singer-songwriter Tusks announces Upstairs at Whelan's gig
Tusks brings her indie electronica to Dublin.
Following the release of her album Avalanche in June, electronica singer-songwriter Tusks announces a headline gig Upstairs at Whelan's. The London-based indie artist will take the stage at Dublin's famous venue on November 23.
Avalanche is threaded with uplifting lyrics about knowing yourself and overcoming obstacles. Check out the latest single 'Be Mine' below:
The album comes after Tusks - aka Emily Underhill - suffered a serious elbow break, leaving her unsure about the future of her music career: "I had to prepare for the possibility I might not be able to play guitar or piano properly again."
Luckily, two operations later, the singer was able play music again. Now Tusks is coming to Dublin, ready to share her atmospheric, arresting indie electronica with her Irish audience.
Tickets, priced €11.80, will be on sale from this Friday, August 9 at 10am.
