Electric Picnic: Sorcha Richardson Rocks Rankin's Wood
The Dublin native played an intimate, atmospheric gig in the tent
Sorcha Richardson took to Electric Picnic's Rankin's Wood stage at 1.30pm this afternoon.
"Still alive?" she asked the crowd, mentioning her gratitude to them for pushing past their hangovers and showing up.
The singer-songwriter and her band played a number of her most popular tunes.
This was the Dublin native's second time at Electric Picnic - but not as a performer.
"I've only ever been to Electric Picnic once," she told her audience. "In sixth year. We arrived on our first day of school with tents and bottles of vodka."
She's come a long way since then, gracing one of the larger stages at Electric Picnic with her own material. The crowd cheered between each song as smoke swirled around her bandmates, creating an atmosphere well-suited to her alternative sound.
