Electric Picnic Live Review - Sleep Thieves
Sleep Thieves wake up Body & Soul at EP 2014.
The sun broke through and shone on Sleep Thieves when they shook everybody awake on the Body & Soul Main Stage today, proving that it doesn't necessarily have to be night time to bop to moody disco noir.
Their set skipped seamlessly through You Want The Night, the Dublin electro pop trio’s breakthrough summer album. Lead singer Sorcha Brennan’s impeccable vocal performance helped to conjure their brand of doom and synth-filled pop and ‘City Of Hearts’ was the pick of the bunch.

By the halfway mark, they’d already gathered the first big Body & Soul crowd of the weekend. Sleep Thieves aren’t finished with EP duty just yet - they’re set to play the Little Big Tent tomorrow at 16:45.
