Electric Picnic: Gardai Issue Warning Over Fake Ticket Sales
Fake tickets are rampant online
Gardai have issued a warning to Electric Picnic festival-goers this weekend as fake tickets are making the rounds online.
They are urging people who have not yet secured a place at the sold-out festival to be careful of forged or fake print-at-home tickets.
The print-at-home ticket method is not being used for this year's festival, so any tickets of this type are fraudulent.
Gardai have also cautioned against the use of third-party websites to buy Electric Picnic tickets.
Taking place in Stradbally, the festival is expected to bring tens of thousands of people from around the country to Co. Laois this weekend.
In other EP-preparatory news, AA Roadwatch have issued traffic warnings and are urging people to prepare their journey to the festival in advance.
