Electric Picnic announces the return of the Artist in Residence program
The Diverse Individual Visual Artist (D.I.V.A) bursary will be awarded to four selected professional artists who will provide visual pieces to be exhibited at the festival.
The program, which is in it's second year, offers an amazing opportunity for for Irish artists to display their work to a captive audience of thousands.
An award of €5000 will be shared between the four successful artists, who will live and work onsite during the construction phase of the Electric Picnic festival to ensure that their piece is properly adapted to the festival environment.
To apply for the D.I.V.A program prospective artists must have an existing work that they believe would add to the visual aesthetic of Electric Picnic, and can be modified to suit the backdrop of Electric Picnic.
