The Elation to Release New Single For Electric Picnic Performance
It's a good way to end a summer of festival gigs
Corkonian quartet The Elation are releasing a single to coincide with their performance at Electric Picnic.
The track 'Feels Like a Good Reason to Get Started' is already available to listen to but its official release date is 31 August.
Used in the Indiependence after movie, the song explores prolonging a relationship that has run its course for fear of hurting your other half.
The bittersweet song features melancholic lyrics to an upbeat, pop-dance beat that'll surely have recent breakup-ees dancing through their tears.
The Elation are probably, well, elated to be playing Electric Picnic after their summer-long tour of festivals and radio stations around the country.
The band's first two singles from their debut EP was a radio favourite both on home soil and in the UK. Their most recent release, 'Clickbait', climbed to the #3 spot of the Irish indie charts upon its June release.
