Dublin City Council Ceol Country: Celebrate college football weekend with a jam-packed family event featuring rising international Nashville star Braden Hull
Dublin will come alive during an unforgettable weekend for music lovers, families, football fans and visitors alike. Tickets are €5 and are available via the link below
One of Nashville's fastest-rising new artists, Braden Hull, will be performing at Dublin City Council Ceol Country in Merrion Square Park on August 30, joining a host of country music heroes as Dublin comes alive for college football weekend.
A stellar family-friendly offering for locals and a warm Irish welcome to visitors from abroad, the two-day spectacle celebrates the very best of Irish and American country culture.
Braden Hull traded nine years as a small-town North Carolina firefighter for a rising country music career, bringing his distinct 6'4" frame, curly mullet, and Southern grit from Lexington to music city. Since signing with Melody Place Records in 2024, he's built a catalog of authentic, hard-hitting hits including 'Coulda Been Love' and 'One Day I Wanna' that mark him as one of country's must-hear new voices.
Providing the ideal soundtrack to one of Dublin's biggest weekends of the year, Hull has performed alongside legendary country artists like Craig Morgan, Little Texas, Vince Gill, Whey Jennings, and breakout stars Gavin Adcock and Vincent Mason. He follows Saturday, August 29, headliner Nathan Carter.
As well as the live music, visitors can engage in all things country, such as the lively Barn Dance Hall, where free line dancing workshops and social dancing sessions will run both days, whether you're a first timer or an old timer.
Furthermore, the event features tailgating and traditional carnival rides and games, alongside a delicious selection of American-inspired food and drink to complete the festival experience.
"I am delighted to see 'Dublin City Council Ceol Country' back again," Lord Mayor of Dublin Daryl Barron said. "This festival has become very popular and continues to go from strength to strength each year. So grab your stetson and your boots and head on down to Merrion Square Park to join the fun!"
Across two days, audiences can enjoy performances from Robert Mizzell, Jimmy Buckley, Claudia Buckley, Cliona Hagan, Sandy Kelly, Declan Nerney, The Highway Men, Effie O'Neill, Jack Keogh and Clodagh Lawlor, with the legendary Ronan Collins on MC duties on Saturday. Clodagh Lawlor on Sunday, and house bands The Ryan Turner Band and The Conquerors.
Tickets to Dublin City Council Ceol Country on Sunday, August 30, are €5 and are available via this link.
