Drake adds second Dublin show
As Hot Press reported earlier this week, Drake was forced to postpone his tour due to an ankle injury, but there is a silver lining: the rapper will be adding shows in Dublin and Glasgow for his 2017 Boy Meets World tour. As tickets sold out for his February 19 show in Dublin, MCD Productions announced another show for February 20. The sale of the tickets was scheduled for 9am, but then was changed to an earlier time for the day before, much to the frustration of die-hard fans. Not even the Dublin rain could discourage them, however, as many fans have been camping out overnight for tickets.
Glasgow will also have another opportunity to see Drake when he returns, as there will now be two shows at the SSE Hydro on January 25 and 26. The extra show was added due to "phenomenal demand." Tickets for the first show were sold out within minutes, and so the same morning another Glasgow date was added to the calendar. Still, some fans are taking to Twitter demanding that yet another Glasgow date be added, as Drake will already be playing four shows in London and tickets are going fast. No news yet on whether fans will get their way yet again, but the addition of this new show in Dublin, as well as additions in Glasgow bodes well for U.K fans.
