Doireann Garrihy set to return to RTÉ 2FM to host new drivetime show
2FM have revealed a number of lineup changes this morning
RTÉ 2FM has announced that Doireann Garrihy will be re-joining the station, less than a year after announcing her departure back in May.
2FM saw various high-profile hosts leave their jobs last year, including Jennifer Zamparelli, The 2 Johnnies, and Donncha O'Callaghan.
Having previously hosted the 2FM Breakfast show, Garrihy will now take over the 3-6pm drivetime slot which was previously undertaken by a number of different presenters following The 2 Johnnies' departure.

RTÉ has announced a number of changes across the board, with new daily and weekend lineups.
The Breakfast FM host Carl Mullan will be joined by Roz Purcell and Aishling Bonner, while Tracy Clifford will continue at 12 noon.
Other changes to the schedule include new voices at the weekend, with the addition of four new presenters, including Benny Bracken, Helen Galgey, Mikey O'Reilly and presenting from the Cork studios, Demi Issac.
The new daytime and weekend schedules are set to launch in February 2025.
