In the last seven years the Dirty Projectors have released seven albums, the last two, Bitte Orca and Ascending Melody, under UK label Domino Records. Frontman David Longstreth has been called this generation‘s David Bryne ? the band collaborated with Bryne on non-profit compilation Dark Was The Night in 2009.
