Dirty Curtains And Football Posters
UK electro duo Transparent Sound follow their Emotional Amputation debut album with this excellent new work. ‘Dirty’ sees the lads broaden their sound and, unlike Amputation, there’s also a focus on dancefloor tracks. The title track has an ethereal, live edge, ‘Chip Fat Science’ and ‘Do You Have A Need?’ are tight, minimal club tracks, while ‘Playground’ and ‘Candlelit Lust’ see Orson and Martin return to their trademark wide screen sound, with the latter fusing their love of atmospheric textures with intricate clubby rhythms. Great title too.
