'Despacito' remains the singles chart-topper as Irish artists slip off the Top 10
The sole Irish artist in the Top 10 last week, Niall Horan, dropped to number 11 this week
The reggaeton summer smash 'Despacito' has continued to dominate the Irish charts at number 1 this week.
Proof positive that music really is the universal language, its Latin inflections and sun-drenched beats have remained popular with the Irish public.
Having Justin Bieber appear on the track probably doesn't hurt either:

Meanwhile, Niall Horan dropping from number 10 last week to number 11 this week means that there are currently no Irish artists in that coveted category.
Kodaline are doing better, with the news that their track 'Brothers' has made the leap from number 52 to 50.
