Depeche Mode tribute band D:Mode announce gig at The Academy
Tickets for the Dublin show go on sale on Wednesday, November 5.
Depeche Mode tribute band D:Mode have announced they will play The Academy in Dublin on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Formed and based in Dublin, D:Mode pays homage to the band by playing everything from early hits like 'New Life' to their most loved songs, such as 'Enjoy The Silence'.
D:Mode focuses on capturing the distinct musical styles of the Depeche Mode members, with the show visually and musically representing the original band. "D:Mode is Ireland’s no.1 Depeche Mode tribute, states a description of the act.
"This homage to the Basildon boys spans everything from electro-pop of New Life right through to I Feel Loved and beyond. D:Mode leaves no Depeche single uncovered, concentrating on Gahan’s razor-sharp lyrics, the genius of Martin Gore and Andy Fletcher’s spot-on synth-and-guitar-perfect melodies. No Hidden Catch, No Strings Attached"
Alongside the Dublin gig, D:Mode will also play Monroes, Galway, on April 4, 2025.
Tickets for the Dublin show go on sale on Wednesday, November 5, at 10AM via Ticketmaster.ie.
