Sporting their trademark tighter-than-nature-intended flares, The Datsuns hair-flick and scissor-kick their way on to the Rising Stage with a selection of rockers’ delights, including storming renditions of crowd-pleasers ‘Motherfucker From Hell’ and ‘Harmonic Generator’. A quick shower of rain garnered the band a sizeable number of shelter-seeking converts, and by the end, they had transformed the modest 1/3 capacity crowd into a fit-to-burst mass of flailing arms and fanatic screams. Job done, methinks.
