Damien Dempsey announces two Vicar St, Dublin gigs for December
The beloved troubador's Christmas gigs have become a fixture of Dublin's live calendar.
Damien Dempsey does his usual Christmas thing in Vicar St, Dublin this year with two gigs on December 22 and 23.
He's riding high at the moment after a headline show at the Iveagh Gardens last month, and the release in May of his seventh studio album Soulsun.
The record sees him duet with a range of female vocal guest stars including Dido, Imelda May and past Damo collaborator Pauline Scanlon, affectionately monikered 'the mighty Celtic Warrior High Queens'.
The gigs are likely to be full of good cheer and positive vibes, as Dempsey explains "there’s music for all situations, but my music is about healing and hope.”
Tickets for the gigs are priced at €32.50, and go on sale from August 24 via Ticketmaster and usual outlets.
