Corb Lund announces intimate show at The Cobblestone
This June, Corb Lund will play a special show in Dublin.
Corb Lund will come to Dublin on June 22 to play a show at The Cobblestone.
Lund, from rural Alberta in Canada, near the foothills of the Rocky Mountains comes from a line of ranchers and rodeo people. This western Canadian singer-songwriter is known for walking the line between outlaw country and indie-folk music.
He was raised with the DIY sentiment and motto of “if you want something done, you gotta do it yourself.” This rang true as he launched his career by recording from his basement, printing his own shirts, booking his own tours, and being his own one man team.
For years, Lund toured with the indie-metal band The Smalls until he switched gears and started creating more Western songs. This has created a unique and quirky style of writing.
The musician has received many domestic and international awards and nominations over the course of her career. In 2022, he won his 14th Career Canadian Country Music Award as well as performed at the famed Grand Ole Opry earlier this year.
Lund will also be releasing a new album El Viejo that will be released on February 23. On the day of the release, Lund will be going live on Instagram to talk to his fans and answer any questions they have about his newest album. He writes, “got any burning questions for me? Leave ‘em in the comments and I’ll get to as many as possible during the live.” He will be going live at 12 p.m. PST which is 20:00 GMT.
