Connolly's In The Round with Mick Flannery will benefit rainforest preservation
A night not to be missed!
Mick Flannery is taking part in a special show Connolly's next week on 5 October. All funds raised will go support the incredible work done by Cool Earth in rainforest preservation. The show will be "in the round" with Mick, SON AKA Susan O'Neill, and Mide Houlihan with more to be announced. There will also be a raffle and a DJ set.
The night has been organised entirely to raise funds for the rainforest preservation NGO, Cool Earth. Cool Earth is a non-for-profit organisation that empowers indigenous communities in the most vulnerable areas of rainforest to save the earth's lungs, support native communities, and promote biodiversity.
The recommended donation for the night is €15, or more if you can.
The difference of your donation makes is a LOT. €60 can save one acre of rainforest. €5 can offset 1 metric tonne equivalent of Co2. The goal for the night is to help save several acres of rainforest and inspire the attendees to continue giving for years to come, making a huge difference in the survival of these beautiful regions.
According to Sir David Attenborough, "helping Cool Earth to halt tropical deforestation makes a real difference. Perhaps the biggest difference we will make in our whole lives".
