Clare Sands releases new single with Steve Cooney and Tommy Sands

Cork-born fiddler Clare Sands has shared her latest single, ‘Abair Liom do Rúin (Tell Me Your Secrets)', along with its accompanying music video featuring Steve Cooney on Thursday 13th May.

‘Abair Liom do Rúin’ is the spring edition of the 4 part series, which spans over the 4 seasons of the year and follows up her February release of ‘Carry my Song,’ featuring Susan O’Neill (SON).

The video was shot by twin sisters Liadáin Ní Bhraonáin and Kasia Kaminska in Donegal, and captures Sands performing with Cooney on a mountainside – with Tommy Sands' poetry opening the track.

Sands recorded several of the instruments and produced the track which was mixed and mastered in Wavefield Studios, Co. Cork. She will also collaborate with Bridín and Liam Ó Maonlaí as part of the project.

The four videos will culminate in the release of a documentary later in the year.
