The Chemical Brothers announce Cork open-air show
The seminal dance group is set to hit Ireland this summer.
The Chemical Brothers have announced their Irish return with an open-air show at Irish Independent Park, Cork on June 30th, 2020. The show will feature very special guests KETTAMA and James Holroyd. Tickets are priced at €49.90 and are inclusive of booking fees. They go on sale at 9 am this Friday, November 22nd via Ticketmaster outlets.
For over twenty years The Chemical Brothers have redefined the idea of live electronic music. In that time, their live show has evolved from humble beginnings in dank London nightclubs into one of the most in-demand festival headline sets in the world. All the while, it has adhered to the same basic idea: that the gig should create its own transcendent space where the audience can lose themselves. In the 90's they released seminal records like Dig Your Own Whole and Surrender which paved the way for the future of dance music.
The brothers would continue their hot streak over the next two decades, and are still refining their craft to this day. The band’s most recent album No Geography went on to receive rave reviews from both longtime fans and critics alike. Check out the smash hit from the record, 'Got To Keep On,' now:
