This morning Charli XCX and Christine & the Queens came together on BBC Radio 1 to cover The 1975’s ‘TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME.’ Afterward, the pair also performed their song, ‘Gone.’ The collaboration didn’t come without precedent, though. Could it be possible the two were planning this during backstage conversations in a field in Stradbally, Co. Laois? Recall that both artists played Electric Picnic this past weekend. The link-up continues Charli’s collaborative streak who’s also worked with Sky Ferreira, HAIM, and more recently. Additionally, Charli’s new record will be out next week September 13th.
