Celtronic 2018 announce open call for artists
Celebrating eighteen years of showcasing electronic live acts and producers, the festival have now announced a search for emerging artists.
This banger of a festival has provided hundreds of performance opportunities for local and national producers, DJs and live acts. Being able to do so alongside some of the biggest international artists from across the electronic music spectrum is even better.
This year, the open call for emerging acts to apply and potentially play their own time slot over the five-day summer festival has been sent out to the masses. To register your interest in performing at this year’s festival, all you have to do is send links to examples of your music (soundcloud, youtube, band camp) plus a short biography and live setup/technical specification to [email protected].
Entries close on Friday 4th May 2018.
Among the artists that have performed at Celtronic in the early stages of their careers are two of Ireland's leading electronic music stars, Phil Kieran and Ryan Vail.
Phil Kieran played one of his first ever live gigs at the first Celtronic in 2001 and says ‘I have played almost every Celtronic festival. I have DJed, played live myself or with my bands Alloy Mental and Le Carrousel. Celtronic remains the world class platform in Ireland for electronic artists to perform.’
