Cardinals announce run of Irish and UK shows
Tickets go on sale Friday and can be found at the link below.
Cork band Cardinals have announced a run of Irish gigs, set for Friday, March 5 at the Ulster Sports Club, Belfast, Saturday, March 6 at Cork's St. Luke’s and Sunday, March 7, 2026 at The Workman’s Club, Dublin.
They are also scheduled to perform in Bristol, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow.
The news comes ahead on the five-piece's debut album Masquerade, out February 13.
Formed by brothers Euan and Finn Manning, their cousin Darragh, and school friends Oskar Gudinovic and Aaron Hurley, the band had tracks from their 2023 self-titled debut EP featured in Netflix’s drama House of Guinness and EA Sports’ Skate series.
Last month, the group supported NewDad at their 3Olympia Halloween gig.
Additionally, this year saw Cardinals support Fontaines D.C., Wunderhorse and The Pogues.
In October, Cardinals put out ‘The Burning of Cork,’ the second track taken from their forthcoming album.
Masquerade is set to have an A-side and a B-side, with the latter being "a darker and grittier exploration of the themes than what comes before,” said Euan.
The album will feature themes of religion and an examination of the aftermath of the release of the 2009 Murphy Report.
“Big social changes that happen when you’re a child do affect you more than you realise”, said Euan.
