Bomba Estéreo to play first headline show in Ireland
Combining a mixture of reggae and cumbia, electronic and tropical - this striking group get you throwing all sorts of shapes.
Formed in 2005 by Bogotá native Simón Mejía, the project was born from a heady mix of salsa, cumbia, electro beats, and dance music.
From the release of their first album Vol. 1 in 2006, followed by Estalla in 2008 and this floor-shaking single Fuego that reached global play on the dancefoors, they've since released the album Elegancia Tropical in 2012 on the Colombian label FM Discos y Cintas. In 2014, they released the single Qué Bonito on FM Discos y Cintas. Later in the year, they signed with Sony Music Latin. Their pre-release single, Fiesta appeared in March of 2015.
Now they play their first headline show in Ireland this July 3rd at the Tivoli Theatre.
Tickets will be €25 and available from ticketmaster.ie this Friday, the 6th of April at 9:00am.
