Bloc Party reveal details of fourth album

It's been four years since their third album Intimacy was released and Bloc Party are finally ready to make good their return. In a moment of inspiration, they've decided to name their new record.... Four. Hey, at least it's more straightforward and knowing than The Verve's Forth.
Ultimately, of course, it will be the music contained within that counts. Fans of Kele and co are sure to lap it up, especially given the fact that it looked for a time like Bloc Party were no more. Their hiatus over, the band gathered in New York last winter to write new material. Recording commenced in March of this year, and a new deal was inked with Frenchkiss Records.
Produced by Alex Newport, Four sees the light of day on August 20. Kele Okereke reckons it's "the best thing that we have ever done". We'll soon find out. Until then, a trailer to tide you over...
