Biffy Clyro set to release new soundtrack album tomorrow, May 17
The first new music from the soundtrack album and trailer for Balance, Not Symmetry was released today.
The Scottish rock band have released the title track from their upcoming album Balance, Not Symmetry, which will be released tomorrow, May 17. The album serves as a soundtrack for the upcoming film of the same name, set for release July 26.
Since the 2016 release of their LP Ellipsis, Biffy Clyro have been working on the tracks for this record. In recent months they’ve been teasing the progression of new material in the studio, and finally we are getting a glimpse at what they have been concocting. Take a look at the first track from the album below…
The Jamie Adams’ film will debut at the Edinburgh International Film Festival on June 23, and stars Laura Harrier, Bria Vinaite and Lily Newmark, amongst a host of other impressive names. The film delves into the loneliness of grief and loss and deals with coming out the other side of struggle. It is said to be a Romeo and Juliet story, viewed from Juliet’s perspective.
