BENJAMYN releases 'Sea of Uncertainty'
BENJAMYN embraces uncertainty on a sunny tropical house track.
Dublin-based electronic producer BENJAMYN hones his distinctive "surf-house" genre with single 'Sea of Uncertainty'. Garnering comparisons fo the likes of Kygo, Milky Chance and Chet Faker, the sunny track utilizes a classic four-on-the-floor beat and tropical sounds to create a chill summer jam.
The track tackles the universal theme of uncertainty, inspired by the COVID-19 crisis. But it's not a lockdown or pandemic song, rather an upbeat dance track that embraces and accepts the feeling of being lost.
“At some stage or other, we all swim in our own sea of uncertainty," BENJAMYN states. “I want listeners not only to feel understood in this complex emotional state - but also to feel inspired to let go and live free from that fear.”
BENJAMYN's journey to the surf-house genre was full of experimentation, including a wide range of styles from indie rock to acoustic folk. It seems he's found his perfect niche within the electronic world, adding his own spin to the well-loved tropical house scene.
