Baliza announces St Patrick Whelan’s gig

Dublin-based Spanish band Baliza are set to take the main stage at Whelan’s on March 14, celebrating St. Patrick weekend.

Formed by Gon Massey from Barcelona and Anxo Silveira from Galicia, the duo has been shedding a light on the Spanish-speaking community in Ireland and receiving widespread acclaim since their first meeting busking and performing Spanish on the streets of Dublin in 2023.

Most recently, the band released their first album Hasta Que La Calle Nos Separe, and performed their debut homecoming gig in Madrid back in February.

Following this next show, attendees can enjoy a Spanish after-party in Whelan's with Madrid DJ Lit H.
