Ash to split?
Ash have given an onstage indication that the new album may well be their last.
On Saturday June 9 Ash played the Isle Of Wight Festival, playing a mix of old hits and new songs from their forthcoming Twilight Of The Innocents album.
Reports suggest the band seemed ‘disjointed’ on stage, and Tim later confused fans by introducing the final song of the set, ‘Twilight Of The Innocents’ as “the last song of our final album”.
There’s no official word yet on whether Ash do plan to split, but Tim’s comment has caused many of the band’s followers to worry.
Some fans on the Ash message board are hoping Tim simply misspoke ("He probably just mixed his words up a bit... hopefully" reasons Stu).
"They were on the Ian Dempsey show on Tuesday and they said they were hoping to make another album in their NY studio," points out the_red.
