Altara releases brand new single 'pleasedontleave'

Irish rising star Altara returns with his brand new single 'pleasedontleave'.

Having only launched back in August with his debut track ‘Somebody To Lose’, 'pleasedontleave' is the follow up to Altara’s first EP The Lobby. Having a flame for EDM, this tune demonstrates Altara’s love for electronica and alt-pop.

Altara explained: "Something I struggle with a lot is how much faster life can move than music. After I put out my debut single, I already felt that creeping up on me, so I got straight back into the studio to work on how I was feeling."

He expressed how he wrote and produced ‘pleasedontleave’ as "intuitively" as he could: "The inspiration came from one particular moment; I vividly remember having an argument & being asked what happens next, and in that moment I said ‘I don’t know, but just please don’t leave'. I don’t know why but it really stuck with me. I don’t like to think of myself in that place.”
