All Irish Contestants Eliminated In The Voice Kids
On Sunday's show, the remaining four Irish contestants on The Voice Kids were eliminated just before the semi-final round.
While all of the contestants gave stellar performances, only one member of each team could move forward to the semi-finals.
On Pixie Lott's team was Dubliner Devon, who performed Ed Sheeran's "Thinkin' Out Loud" with fellow team members and competitors Leah and Lewis. Though all three kids sang beautifully, Lewis was the lucky contestant chosen to move forward.
Marby from Kildare performed Eurhythmics' "There Must Be An Angel" with will.i.am's first team, but lost out to teammate Brooke. In spite of the defeat, Marby called it "the best day of my life."
Clare native Adam sang for will.i.am's second team, performing "As" by the late George Michel and Mary J Blige. After losing out to teammate Gina, the Irish singer remained positive, saying, "It's been a good experience. I'm happy to get to this stage."
On Danny Jones' team, County Atrim's Nathan sang and beatboxed "Runnin' (Lose It All)" by Naughty Boy and Beyonce, but lost out to fellow contestant Jess.
The Voice Kids semifinals will air next Sunday, when the remaining contestants will battle it out for £30,000 towards a musical career, as well as a family trip to Disneyland Paris.
