All-female Bruce Springsteen cover band announce first ever tour
And they're coming to Dublin
The world's very first all-female Bruce Springsteen cover band has just announced dates for their first ever tour, with Dublin's Grand Social as one of the stops.
The She Street Band, which is made up of members from Ireland, the UK, Sweden and the States, will tour in selected cities across the UK and Ireland this October.
To be perfectly honest, we feel they deserve to sell out for that band name alone.
The band was formed in 2016 by bassist Jody Orsborn, who recruited Calie Hough (drums), Mara Daniele (guitar), Lynn Roberts (keys), Clare McGrath (glockenspiel), Isabel Lysell (lead guitar) and Yasmin Ogilvie (sax) after seeing Springsteen at Wembley.
After a successful debut show in Hackney the band have gone on to be featured in global publications like Elle and Grazia. They've also secured the approval of The E Street Band itself, with bassist Garry Tallent spotted wearing The She Street Band merch in Nashville last month.
Looks like these girls are born to run the cover band music scene.
Tickets for the following show dates are on sale now at www.shestreetband.com.
3 Oct: The Haunt, Brighton
4 Oct: Scala, London
09 Oct: The Great Eastern, Glasgow
10 Oct: The Grand Social, Dublin
