Alex G has announced his new album Headlights, out July 18 through RCA Records.
This marks his 10th record and official debut on a major label. He dropped the lead single ‘Afterlife’ today, alongside a music video directed by Charlotte Rutherford. Fans can pre-order the album now.
The musician also announced an upcoming North American tour last week, set to begin in September. Tickets are on sale now.
Headlights is described as “a gorgeous collection of absurd twists and mundane milestones narrated by one of the 21st century’s most celebrated and influential rock’n’roll architects.”
His last album God Save the Animals was released in September of 2022, and reached No. 16 on Billboard‘s Top Alternative Albums chart.
Alex G, full name Alexander Giannascoli, will also appear in London and Manchester for Outbreak Festival in June.
