Album Full of Irish Hip Hop Talent in Aid of Pieta House Out Now
The District Recordings label has just released an album full of Irish Hip Hop talent in aid of Pieta House.
The compilation album is comprised of 20 Irish Hip Hop artists, with all proceeds going directly to Pieta House - a charity fighting suicide and self harm in Ireland.
District magazine said of the album: "Hip hop is a genre traditionally steeped in toxic masculinity, but in recent years artists have been breaking that mould. We can’t thank the talented artists involved enough. We’re really proud of this little island’s hip hop scene and now we’re even prouder. So much love to everyone involved in this."
The album features names such as NEOMADiC, Bobby Basil, JYellowL, Mathman and Wastefellow.
Songs are €1 to download, or the entire album is available for download at €9.90. The music can be purchased here.
