90-Year Old Chuck Berry Announces New Studio Album
Coming soon to 2017, Chuck!
Today marks the guitarist's 90th birthday. What a better way to celebrate than to announce a new LP? Rock n' Roll pioneer and legend, Chuck Berry, emerges into the spotlight once again after 38 years. His original songs were last heard on the 1979 album Rock It, featuring tunes like 'Oh What a Thrill' and 'Havana Moon' (re-recording).
Berry dedicates Chuck to his longtime wife of 68 years, Themetta. His children Charles Berry Jr. (guitar) and Ingrid Berry (harmonica) accompany their father on the recording, making it a truly family inspired work.
