430 West Presents Back To the Rhythm
Rhythm is Lorne’s first mix CD, but it shows that he’s a promising, if not the most technically accurate DJ
The Burden brother trio are better known to the techno community as Octave One, purveyors of the finest rhythm based Detroit techno and the people behind the consistently excellent 430 West label. Keeping it in the family is youngest brother Lorne, who, at 18 already has the kind of studio experience that would put most veteran techno producers to shame.
Rhythm is Lorne’s first mix CD, but it shows that he’s a promising, if not the most technically accurate DJ. Dropping his own tracky grooves as well as deep techno from Underground Resistance and Rolando and a wealth of his brothers’ work – including a rework of Inner City’s ‘Big Fun’, Rhythm sees Lorne Burden keep the funky techno touch in the family.
