3Arena details security guidelines for tonight’s Shawn Mendes concert
Extra security measures will be in place at the 3Arena tonight.
Shawn Mendes’ sold out concert will be subject to extra security procedures tonight, due to increased vigilance following the Manchester atrocity.
Attendees will be subject to full body pat down searches and metal detector searches. In addition, Backpacks, larger purses or bags are forbidden, only purses or clutches measuring 4.5in/11.4cm x 6.5in/16.51cm or smaller will be allowed.
Patrons are also advised that they will be required to empty their pockets before entry, and that thick layered clothing is not recommended.
The 3Arena has warned that due to the extra security measures, queues for entry will be slower than normal, and advise fans to show up as early as possible to avoid any issues.
