2 Chainz teases new Eminem project, reveals collaboration
The urban star uploaded an Instagram shot with Mr Mathers
Eminem has been quiet for quite some time, but recent reports suggest that won't last much longer.
Trap titan 2 Chainz posted an Instagram photo in which he stands with a bearded and serious-looking Eminem weeks ago, but has finally confirmed what that snap suggested.
In an interview for Streetz Is Watchin, he revealed that he laid down a verse on a new song, and that “when it was over, Eminem came up to me and said ‘Man, how the hell did you rhyme tabernacle with Adam’s apple?'...He’s got a project coming out.”
This follows Allen Hughes, who is directing the documentary on Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine and Eminem, The Defiant Ones, revealing that Dre is "producing, in the 11th hour, a track for Eminem’s latest album.”
The album, about which nothing else is known, will be Eminem's first since The Marshall Mathers LP 2 in 2013.
