'William Shatner Live on Stage' Coming to Dublin
The Hollywood legend will converse wih the audience and conduct a Q&A after the screening of the classic film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
Set your phasers to stun! Star Trek fans will be delighted to watch William Shatner relive his role as the iconic Captain James T Kirk which originated when he started out in the Star Trek television series back in 1966.
Quick to become a household name, the show spawned a feature film franchise where Shatner returned as Captain Kirk in seven of the Star Trek movies, one of which Shatner directed.
Following a U.S tour, the 'William SHatner Live on Stage' event is landing in Europe next year. It will take place in Dublin at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on March 10 2020, kicked-off by the movie screening of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. It is considered by many to the best one from the Star Trek series.
There is no doubt the award-winning actor, director, producer and writer has a lot of insightful stories to tell his audiences. This includes behind the scenes memories and other humorous anecdotes about Shaner's portrayal of Captain James T. Kirk.
Shatner will also share about other important moments of his career, spanning over fifty years. Beside his movies success, his love for music inspired him to record the critically acclaimed album Has Been. One of his books, Leonard: My Fifty-Year Friendship with a Remarkable Man, also appeared on the NY Times Bestseller list. The 87 years-old is truly an all-round American legend who should make for a very entertaining evening.
A limited number of VIP tickets will be available which include premium seating and a photo opportunity with Shater in the end of the veent clude premiere stage and a photo opportunity with Shatner.
