Teaser trailer for the third season of The Witcher has been released
Volume One season three will be released June 29th, followed by the second volume on July 27th.
A brand new teaser trailer for season three of The Witcher has been released today. The Netflix original will launch this summer in two separate volumes; volume one including episodes one to five, and volume two including six to eight.
A synopsis of the upcoming season reads: “As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it.”
It continues: “Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where they hope to uncover more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they discover they’ve landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery. They must fight back, put everything on the line – or risk losing each other forever.”
Directed by Stephen Surjik, Gandja Monteiro, Loni Peristere, and Bola Ogun, volume one of season three will be released June 29th, with the second volume released July 27th.
