Netflix announces the launch of new movie The Beautiful Game
The Homeless World Cup is a global street soccer tournament where homeless teams from around the world compete with the hope of becoming champions.
Following a team of homeless football players from England, The Beautiful Game tells the story of team manager, Mal (Bill Nighy), as he leads his group of footballers to the Homeless World Cup in Rome.

With the help of last minute addition Vinny, a talented striker played by Michael Ward, Mal’s team has a real chance of winning, but will Vinny be able to put the past aside and become a part of the team?

Made with the support of the Homeless World Cup Foundation, which was established in 2001, The Beautiful Game is a fictional movie that strives to introduce audiences to a new side of sports.
With 70 member countries, the foundation’s mission is to support and inspire people who are homeless to change their own lives through football. This year, The Homeless World Cup will be help in Seoul, South Korea.
Directed by Thea Sharrock of Me Before You and Wicked Little Letters, The Beautiful Game will premiere globally on Netflix on 29th March.
