Disney release trailer for final season of The Bear

Disney have released the trailer for the fifth and final series of The Bear.

All eight episodes of the Emmy Award-winning series will be available upon its release on June 26.

Starring Jeremy Alan White, The Bear follows Chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, who comes from from the fine dining world and returns home to run his family sandwich shop after a death in the family.

The new series picks up after Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri), Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto (Abby Elliott) discover that the chef has quit the food industry, leaving the restaurant to them.

With no money, the threat of a sale and a torrential storm in their way, the new partners must band together with the rest of the team to achieve one last service, hoping they’ll finally earn a Michelin star.

The half-hour series also stars Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas and Matty Matheson, with Ricky Staffieri, Oliver Platt, Will Poulter and Jamie Lee Curtis in recurring roles.

The Bear has had significant critical success, including the 2023 Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series, along with acting wins for White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, and Christopher Storer.

The series was written by Storer, who serves as Executive Producer at FX Productions alongside co-writer Joanna Calo.
