Barry McGuigan and Dean McCullough revealed as contestants for this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The two Irish contestants are set to enter the jungle as the reality show returns on Sunday evening.
Former Irish boxing champion Barry McGuigan and Antrim-born BBC Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough have been revealed as contestants for this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! which returns to our screens on Sunday.
This year’s lineup will see the pair join Danny Jones, Coleen Rooney, Tulisa, and Jane Moore in the jungle.
Monaghan native McGuigan is keen to tackle the psychological challenges presented by the reality show, stating: “It can be physically arduous, but it’s the psychological part of it that I want to conquer before I get too old.
“I’m 63 now. I’d like to think I’m a young 63, but that doesn’t mean it’ll make any of these challenges easy,”
McCullough admitted his fear of creepy-crawlies, predicting that the Bushtucker Trials will prove difficult for him: “I made the mistake of watching episode one from last year and I nearly passed out watching it. I had to turn it off. And I hate cockroaches".
As always, comedy duo Ant and Dec will present the show as the new cast arrive in the jungle, and embark on a series of gruesome and challenging tasks over the coming weeks.
